Allergen Signs

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) in conjunction with DEFRA introduced new allergen laws in December 2014. Catering outlets are now required to provide details of all possible allergens that are contained within the menu items served.

The details of the recognised allergens must be clearly marked in a visible place so that employees of the establishment can provide correct information to consumers.
