The buildings and trucks we operate have a significant impact. We’ve set an ambitious science-based target to cut our global scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions by 27.5% by 2030, and are investing in the future of fleet and generating our own renewable electricity.
Lower emissions
We have recently installed air source heat pump technology, integrated into air conditioning units to over 80% of our office spaces.
Efficiency upgrades
We have installed LED lighting across the whole site, warehouse and office spaces.
Warehouse logistics
100% of our manual handling equipment is powered by battery.
Waste and packaging
We are making steps to reduce our waste streams and recycle where possible.
Recycled packaging
Our branded cardboard boxes used for delivery have a recycled content of 65% on the large box and 76% on the small box.
Re-using materials
We recycle any manufacturer packaging and use as packing material around products. This reduces the amount of single use plastic air cushions.
Single use plastic
In January 2024 we introduced a bailing machine to site. This allows us to bail all plastic shrink wrap on site and send it off for recycling.
