The lid is made out of high quality polypropylene, which is virtually unbreakable. It will not shatter or splinter, when dropped. Widely used in the healthcare sector. Please note that the lid is not water tight, even though it sits inside of the jug to provide a firm fit. The lid is dishwasher safe. Ideal for serving any chilled or hot drinks.
