This Allergen Label Starter Pack is designed to reduce your risk of liability and avoidable accidents, by labelling food to help train employees the risk of allergies, making it perfect for hotels, restaurants, hospitals, schools and much more.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) in conjunction with DEFRA are introducing new allergen labelling laws which will come into effect in 13 December 2014. These new regulations affect all foodservice organisations serving unpackaged food, or food that is packaged on site for immediate consumption. Establishments will be required to provide details of all possible allergens that are contained within the menu items being served. The details of the recognised Allergens must be marked in a clearly visible place so that employees of the establishment can provide correct information to consumers.
The purple colour is dedicated foods that must be free from contaminations from 8 of the most common allergies, and helps to avoid cross contamination. The labels contain a tick box to to clearly identify any food product(s) and with ingredients that contain protein derived from any of the and 14 major allergenic foods and food groups: eggs, molluscs, and crustaceans, celery, milk, fish, treenuts, sulphites, soya, and sesame.

Any carriage charges caused by an aborted delivery are the customer’s responsibility and will be charged accordingly. Any products incorrectly ordered by the customer will incur a re-stocking fee, products must be returned in original packaging and be unused. Stainless steel fabrication is non-returnable.
