Cole and Mason award winning precision mechanisms offer excellent quality and durability. The pepper mills are made from machine cut, hardened carbon steel, which cuts and strips peppercorns to break them into smaller pieces to slowly release a more intense flavour. The diamond sharp ceramic mechanism in the precision salt mills consistently grinds coarse sea salt year after year. Both the salt and pepper mechanisms are spring loaded, meaning the mills can be easily adjusted from fine to coarse grind to meet everyone's tastes.
